About Us

Star Union Spirits, in Peru, IL, is a premier distillery serving Peru, Peoria, Bloomington, La Salle, Chicago, Joliet and surrounding areas since 2018, and now an additional 39 states! We specialize in producing handcrafted artisan spirits using non-GMO Midwestern grains and seasonally-available grapes from California and South America. Our facility is a great location for weddings, birthdays, engagements and parties and we also offer distribution to restaurants, bars and retailers. Always a nice time at Star Union Distillery. The owner and the bartenders are always friendly. They also have great food and they make a great Bloody Mary.

Star Union is a very cool distillery and a great place to enjoy a cocktail or taste through some of their offerings. Staff are very welcoming. Arrived early afternoon for a distillery tour which was curated by Bob, one of the co owners himself. It was really neat getting to learn about the history of the building and distillery. The bartender Mike makes great drinks and there’s a large list of cocktails to choose from or enjoy a flight of their bottle offerings. Really enjoyed our time here and love what Star Union is doing. Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in the area.
